Qutub
Shahi Tombs is again one of the oldest historical places in Hyderabad, India,
consisting of seven tombs. It is also close to the famous Golconda Fort. The
tombs were built by the various kings of the Qutub Shahi Dynasty. The Qutub
Shahi Tombs are dome-shaped and have a square shaped base surrounded by it, unique
styles that merge Persian Pashtun and Hindu.
The
Seven Tombs are of various sizes, the smaller ones have a single storey and the
larger tombs have a double storey. The Tomb of Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah is
among the largest of all tombs, which was under renovation when I visited the
place. The Qutub Shahi Tombs are surrounded by a huge landscape garden. It is
also a good place for picnic spot and the people who are interested in rich
Indian history. There are altogether four phases to visit, just in case if you
happen to visit this place.
You can
hire guides as they are always available to help guide you to explore this
place and give you more vital details about this place. Make sure that you pay them
appropriately :D Note for photographers, you cannot carry your tripods in here,
so you don't really have to carry the burden. Instead, you can just manage it
with the shutter speed.
