Shilparamam Hyderabad,India

Shilparamam-Hyderabad, Telangana India

Hi, guys. So, Shilparamam, is one of the very famous tourist attractions in Hyderabad, especially now that its renovation is done. If you're interested in arts and crafts, and photography, this place is for you.

Well, this place is situated in Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana. Note for photographers; even though you can take your DSLRs inside, you cannot like most of the places in Hyderabad, carry your tripods in the premise. So, you don't need to carry your heavy tripods when you're planning your trip for this particular place as well.

There's this artificial village, illustrating the environment, traditional crafts. In short, you can learn a lot about Telangana when you come here. If you're keen to know about the culture and stuff, you can certainly give a visit to this place. Additionally, there's a market, where you can buy the crafts/handcrafts, which are visually so attractive, at reasonable price.

Do not forget to visit the museum that's in the premise itself that too you don’t have pay additional amount, or simply put at no additional cost. Evening time is the best time to visit this place as you will get to see the traditional dances and acts, which are performed by the youngsters during the weekends.

Additionally, during the weekends you will find numerous artists that can paint your portraits at reasonable rates. For most of them, 15 minutes are more than enough to give you your final product, so don't forget to give it a try.

It's a perfect place for kids to enjoy, so you can take them for the picnic as well. There are small food stalls where you can get some snacks as well to save yourself from starving. You can take them for a bullock-cart ride. I'd suggest that, because, I myself had experienced this ride as a kid at my native place but not here. But let me tell you something in this era, bullock-cart ride experience is hard to find and it's a great joy indeed. If you think you don't wanna trouble those poor animals, there's an option B for you. You can enjoy the battery-operated vehicles as well. I visited this place during early monsoon of 2017.

I took this opportunity to click some pictures with my Samsung S7 Edge and a DSLR Sony A6000Y, as most of you know.

Nehru Zoological Park - Hyderabad, India

One fine morning, me and my husband, we decided to go for a morning walk, but things did not go as planned. We ended up going to Nehru Zoological Park. The entry fee per person was Rs. 35, and for DSLR camera Rs. 110, but it was worth every penny.

This is one of the biggest and the cleanest zoos I have visited so far. I think it might be one of the biggest zoos in India. While exploring the zoo by walk could be quite tiresome as it is too vast to explore, but there's always a solution. You can rent bicycles that are provided by the zoo. Even battery-operated vehicles are there and/or toy train option is available too.

Families and friends come here for picnic during the vacations as well as students from various schools and colleges come here for outing. Food court is available there too. All-in-all, great place to hang around family.

The best time to visit the zoo is morning 9:30 A.M. Well, I mention this because they leave most of the animals, if not all, in the open at this time. At the entrance, after a few minutes' walk, you will see the white tigers' zone, where I clicked this picture.

There are tigers, lions, leopards, jaguars, hyenas, different types of monkeys, giraffes, ostriches, emus, bears, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, tortoises, alligators, peacocks, white peacocks, different types of birds, fishes, and varieties of deer, elephants, serpents, and gores among other things.

The Zoo Authority has taken tremendous efforts in order to maintain cleanliness, so kudos to them.

Note: Safari has been closed for quite some time now.

Note for photographers: You cannot carry your tripods in the premise.
Here are some pictures that I've clicked.

Beautiful Peacocks

Peacock - National Bird of India

Today, early morning, I grabbed my camera and went to Botanical Garden, which isn't too far from my place. Although, I had to shell-out a couple of hundred bucks in order to take my camera inside the garden, believe me it was worth it. This time I went to the jogger track, which is a six kilometers stretch around the garden.

As soon as I entered the jogger track, there I saw a bunch of beautiful peacocks wandering around, but they were at a quite far distance. I immediately knew that I am going to need a special lens. Thank god, I was carrying 55-210mm lens along with me which could cover the distance quite easily. I am sure you know that the peacocks are quite cheeky people and they certainly would not strike a pose for you in order to click a picture.

So I went ahead, and after a few minutes of walk, I saw a bunch of peacocks standing on the wall. Finally, I got good angle to capture them. And tell you what? They did not even notice me that I was there. Here are some pictures that I clicked. Also the jogger track is open till 6:30 am to 10 am every day.

Well, guys. Please subscribe to my blog, so you'd be notified when I post more stuff in the future. And do not forget to check my other posts as well. Also please follow me on Instagram. I'll be posting some pictures there as well.

Khuga Dam (Manipur), India

Khuga Dam and its nature beauty, it is located in Churachandpur District, near a place called Mata, 70 kilometers from Imphal, Manipur, India. It has a very beautiful landscape views and believe me it's a very attractive place to visit. It is quiet and peaceful, refreshing, energetic.

People used to come here to enjoy the beautiful nature and for picnic, even for filming. Paddle boat is there too. You can also do some fishing, if that's one of your hobbies. I also came here to visit this dam with my family. We couldn't explore this place to its core as this place is quite vast and it is already dawn, I couldn't capture as many pictures. If you are a photographer, wander around you will get a lot of nice spots to capture, but in the early morning and in the afternoon. Remember, the sun sets quite early in this part of the country.

So, what's even more interesting about this dam? Khuga Dam was a project that had multiple purposes. The project was designed to provide electricity and store water. The work on this project began in 1983. In 2010, Sonia Gandhi did the inauguration of this dam.

So, guys, please don't forget to check my other posts as well and subscribe to my blog for future posts. Please follow me on FB and Insta as well. Please leave a comment below in the comments section about the pictures if you like. Thanks for your precious time. Have a great day ahead :)

Qutub Shahi Tombs - Hyderabad, India

Qutub Shahi Tombs is again one of the oldest historical places in Hyderabad, India, consisting of seven tombs. It is also close to the famous Golconda Fort. The tombs were built by the various kings of the Qutub Shahi Dynasty. The Qutub Shahi Tombs are dome-shaped and have a square shaped base surrounded by it, unique styles that merge Persian Pashtun and Hindu.

The Seven Tombs are of various sizes, the smaller ones have a single storey and the larger tombs have a double storey. The Tomb of Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah is among the largest of all tombs, which was under renovation when I visited the place. The Qutub Shahi Tombs are surrounded by a huge landscape garden. It is also a good place for picnic spot and the people who are interested in rich Indian history. There are altogether four phases to visit, just in case if you happen to visit this place.

You can hire guides as they are always available to help guide you to explore this place and give you more vital details about this place. Make sure that you pay them appropriately :D Note for photographers, you cannot carry your tripods in here, so you don't really have to carry the burden. Instead, you can just manage it with the shutter speed.

So, that's all as of now guys. Please check my other posts as well and do not forget to subscribe to my blog, so that you'll be notified when I write more posts in the future.
